Still Paradise is influenced by other soul campaigns, such as the original Paradise Trials and Paradise Rising, as well as Chasing Paradise and The Paradise Effect. This campaign makes use of soul classes, alignments, soul partners, and stats, but exists in a different world and is not connected to any of those campaigns. Knowledge of the other games is not required to play in Still Paradise!

Like other campaigns, Still Paradise uses DnD-like mechanics of stats and rolling, but all rolling is done behind the scenes by the mods. The rp with include puzzles and battle, but is heavily focused on roleplay and exploring your character.

The campaign is split into a Prologue, six Chapters, an Interim between each Chapter, and an Epilogue. Each Chapter will take about a month, with an Interim break of about a month between them. The campaign will last around a year or more. 

STATS

Characters have six stats, which determine their abilities and how well they roll in certain situations. All characters have 25 points to spend on stats at creation, and each stat can have anywhere from 0 to 10 points placed in it.

CH - Charisma

This is the measure of your character's skill in social situations, and the influence they have over others. Are they a smooth talker, extremely intimidating, or cute and likeable? This influences their skill in convincing others and any other social situation. Influences WHITE souls.

STR - Strength

Your character's physical power. How much muscle they have. This influences fighting, moving or pulling objects, and anything that requires raw strength and bulk. Influences RED souls.

 

CON - Constitution

Constitution determines your character's stamina and general health. Those with high constitution can shrug off hits and are less easily taken down by illness and poisons. Influences BLUE souls.

INT - Intelligence

How smart your character is. This determines how well they memorize and learn things, how quickly your character picks up hints, and their skill in strategizing and solving puzzles. Think of intelligence as booksmarts. Influences PURPLE souls.

DEX - Dexterity 

Your character's speed and flexibility. Dexterity determines acrobatics, speed, and anything else that requires nimble movement and delicate reactions. Influences GREEN souls.

​

WIS - Wisdom

A test of your character's intuition and knowledge of the world. The wise can read emotions and have more practical knowledge. They understand philosophical concepts and may have knowledge of how to get by. Think of wisdom as street smarts.

CHARACTER DEATH

While it's not my intention to kill off characters, character death is a real part of the campaign. However, your character is only at risk of dying if you are removed from the group for any reason. This can include:

​

  • Failing to meet the post requirements.

  • Acting predatory or in an unacceptable manner leading to your removal.

  • Breaking the rules in such a way you must be removed.

​

Once a character is dead, they will NOT return, and you will not be able to make another character.
